Description
Tris-NTA is a His-tagged protein ligand, which can be used to bind His-tagged proteins.
In vitro
Tris-NTA demonstrates the ability to interact with a His10-tag that is attached to the intracellular C-terminus of a receptor when in the presence of Ni2+ ions. The affinity of the Tris-NTA group for the His10-tag is characterized by a dissociation constant (Kd) in the range of approximately 10-30 nM[1].
