In vivo
Squalene synthase-IN-1 (compound 1), administered intraperitoneally at 56 μmols/kg twice daily, exhibits anti-hypercholesterolemic and antihyperlipidemic effects by reducing total cholesterol (TC) and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels, while increasing high-density lipoprotein (HDL) levels [1].
