Description | Rizedisben (GE3126) is a fluorophore designed for use in fluorescence image-guided surgery, effectively decreasing non-specific fluorescence intensity in adipose tissue and improving nerve visibility [1]. |
In vivo | Rizedisben (GE3126) administered intravenously (i.v.) at dosages ranging from 1.6 to 46.6 mg/kg as a single dose caused a dose-dependent increase in the fluorescence emission intensity of the sciatic nerves in mice. At doses exceeding 16.6 mg/kg, the enhancement of nerve fluorescence became more moderate. Additionally, as the concentration of GE3126 increased, signal saturation occurred at a slower rate in adipose tissue, with minimal fluorescence observed in the adjacent muscle tissue [1]. |
