Poly-L-lysine Methacryloyl (PLMA) is a methacryloylated form of poly-L-lysine. When crosslinked on polyether ether ketone (PEEK) using ultraviolet initiation, PLMA enhances PEEK's hydrophilicity while maintaining its inherent non-degradable bio-inert properties. In the presence of the photoinitiator LAP , PLMA self-assembles into fibrous hydrogels, targets bioactive adhesion sites, and provides inherent support and biodegradability for tissue cells. Applications include cell culture, bio 3D printing, and tissue engineering.
