| Description | PFB-FDG is a non-fluorescent galactosidase substrate that can be hydrolyzed into the green fluorescent PFB-F (Ex=485 nm, Em=535 nm). It is used for measuring β-galactosidase activity. |
| In vitro | Measurement of β-galactosidase activity involves incubating 2 × 10^5 cells with 50 μg/mL of PFB-FDG in serum-free DMEM containing 25 mM Hepes (pH 7.4) at 37℃ for 2 hours. (Mononuclear cells, for example, may require different concentrations.) Wash the cells once with ice-cold PBS and analyze using flow cytometry (Ex=485 nm, Em=535 nm). |
