Pentachloroaniline is a pentachlorinated aromatic amine pesticide (pesticide) and serves as a substrate in reductive dehalogenation reactions as well as a metabolite of quintozene. Through reduction, pentachloroaniline can be transformed into various trichloroanilines and dichloroanilines. It does not induce its own dehalogenation activity in Desulfitobacterium frappieri [PCP-1] and requires induction by 3,5-dichlorophenol for its transformation.

Description
Pentachloroaniline is a pentachlorinated aromatic amine pesticide (pesticide) and serves as a substrate in reductive dehalogenation reactions as well as a metabolite of quintozene. Through reduction, pentachloroaniline can be transformed into various trichloroanilines and dichloroanilines. It does not induce its own dehalogenation activity in Desulfitobacterium frappieri [PCP-1] and requires induction by 3,5-dichlorophenol for its transformation.
In vitro
Pentachloroaniline (5 mg/liter) undergoes reductive dechlorination to produce trichloroaniline and dichloroaniline metabolites when induced by 3,5-dichlorophenol in Desulfitobacterium frappieri PCP-1, whereas this dechlorination reaction does not occur in uninduced cultures.

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 µL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
