| Description | N,N-Bis(3-aminopropyl)dodecylamine is an effective antifungal agent with notable activity against Aspergillus niger. It induces oxidative stress and modulates the activity of various antioxidant and mitochondrial enzymes in a concentration- and time-dependent manner. This compound disrupts fungal organelles, remodels mitochondrial morphology, and impairs mitochondrial-related cellular functions. It is used in research concerning antifungal mechanisms and oxidative stress related to Aspergillus niger. |
| In vitro | N,N-Bis(3-aminopropyl)dodecylamine (APD), used at a concentration of 0.05-0.1% (v/v) for 1-24 hours, regulates the antioxidant properties and mitochondrial enzyme activity of Aspergillus niger mycelia in a dose- and time-dependent manner. At the 4-hour mark, it significantly increases the activity of total SOD, CAT, GSP, SDG, and NDG, while FHT activity initially decreases before recovering. Notably, CAT activity reaches up to 344% of the control group's peak level. |
