| In vitro | JAX-44 significantly promotes lateral root formation (LRF) in Arabidopsis by inducing and facilitating the development of lateral root primordia (LRP) at concentrations of 0-30 μM over 4 days. In rice (Oryza sativa cv. Haenuki), JAX-44 enhances adventitious root formation at 0-100 μM over 5 days while inhibiting primary root elongation at concentrations above 3 μM. It can also selectively inhibit Arabidopsis lateral root formation through conversion to N- or O-methylated derivatives. Additionally, JAX-44 hydrolyzes rapidly to form JAX-77, and subsequently IBA, within 3 hours at a concentration of 100 μM in Arabidopsis. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
