Description
Ivospemin (SBP-101) hydrochloride is a spermidine analogue with antineoplastic properties. It has demonstrated the ability to slow the progression of pancreatic and ovarian cancer tumors both in vitro and in vivo. While it modestly induces the catabolism of polyamines, it more potently inhibits the activity of ornithine decarboxylase. Ivospemin hydrochloride holds potential for cancer research applications.
In vitro
Ivospemin hydrochloride, when used at concentrations ranging from 500 nM to 10 µM over a 96-hour period, reduces cell viability in human ovarian adenocarcinoma cell lines, exhibiting IC 50 values between 0.95 µM and 3.24 µM, independent of cisplatin sensitivity. The human ovarian adenocarcinoma cell lines treated with Ivospemin show the following IC 50 values: CaOV-3 at 2.56 µM, A2780 at 0.95 µM, OV90 at 3.24 µM, and ACRP at 1.41 µM. Cell viability assays were conducted across A2780, OV90, ACRP, and CaOV-3 cell lines.
In vivo
In a mouse model of ovarian adenocarcinoma, Ivospemin hydrochloride (24 mg/kg, administered intraperitoneally every two weeks for three cycles, alternating weeks, over a period of 60 days) improved survival rates by delaying disease onset and reducing overall tumor burden.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
