Description | HaXS8 is a dimerizer that facilitates the covalent and irreversible intracellular dimerization of proteins of interest labeled with HaloTag and SNAP-tag. Furthermore, HaXS8 does not exhibit any interference with PI3K/mTOR signaling. |
In vitro | HaXS8 facilitates more than 65% intracellular dimerization of both Halo-GFP and SNAP-GFP fusion proteins, achieving significant levels at concentrations as low as 50 nM in HeLa cells. At 0.5 μM for 40 minutes, it effectively initiates cross-linking between the membrane anchor and the iSH2 construct in HEK293 cells, leading to the activation of PKB/Akt and mTOR without upregulating MAPK phosphorylation. Additionally, under the same conditions, HaXS8 does not affect PI3K/mTOR signaling pathways in HEK293 cells[1]. |
