| In vitro | Genz-882706 enhances proliferative activity in unstimulated cells 48 hours post-treatment. |
| In vivo | Daily administration of Genz-882706 markedly attenuates experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) severity. In EAE-affected mice, Genz-882706 significantly lowers MCP-1, IL-6, IL-1β, and IP-10 levels in spinal cord homogenates, contrasting sharply with those treated with a vehicle. Conversely, TNF-α levels in the spinal cord notably increase following Genz-882706 treatment compared to the vehicle group. Furthermore, Genz-882706 administrations, at both 30 mg/kg and 100 mg/kg dosages, substantially decrease the population of microglia and monocytes/macrophages in the brain and spinal cord, standing out from vehicle and LPS controls. Additionally, Genz-882706 modestly diminishes CD80 expression on monocytes/macrophages within the brain. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
