In vitro | Compound MHI-148 (10 µM; 1 h) demonstrates notably higher absorption in HT-29 colon carcinoma cells compared to normal NIH3T3 fibroblasts.[1] alongside its capacity for tumor imaging and targeted properties.[1] Compound MHI-148 (0-1.5 µM; 3 days) exhibits only negligible toxicity in both HT-29 and NIH3T3 cells.[1] |
Cell Research | Instructions 1. Solution configuration 1. Configuration of mother liquor: Use DMSO to configure MHI-148 into 1-10mM mother liquor and store it at -20℃ or -80℃. Please aliquot it to avoid repeated freeze-thawing. 2. Configuration of working fluid: When in use, dilute the MHI-148 mother liquor into a working fluid that meets the requirements and adjust according to the experimental requirements, generally 0.4-100μM. 2. Targeted tumor imaging 1. MHI-148 is usually used in the form of a solution by injection or topical administration. 2. After injection, use a near-infrared imager to observe its accumulation in tumor cells. 3. Due to its targeting nature, MHI-148 can significantly accumulate in the lysosomes and mitochondria of cancer cells, but does not accumulate in normal cells. Therefore, tumor tissues show strong fluorescence signals. III. Application in cancer research 1. Apply MHI-148 to the cell culture system and observe its effect on tumor cells (working concentration: 0.4-100uM). 2. It can also be applied to animal models to monitor tumor growth, metastasis and other processes in real time through near-infrared imaging technology. |
