4A3-SC10 is an ionizable cationic lipid (pKa = 6.57) utilized in the formation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for mRNA delivery both in vitro and in vivo. In mice, these LNPs, which contain 4A3-SC10, preferentially accumulate in the liver, kidney, and spleen. Furthermore, LNPs with 4A3-SC10 that encapsulate an mRNA reporter stimulate reporter expression in 4T1 breast cancer cells, B16/F10 melanoma cells, and AML12 hepatocytes.
