1-Palmitoyl-2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-PE-d62 (1,2-POPE-d62) is a deuterium-labeled version of 1-Palmitoyl-2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-PE. This compound, also known as 1,2-POPE (16:0-18:1 PE), is a phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) lipid. It can induce the formation of hexagonal phase (HII) structures in lipid bilayers under acidic conditions, aiding in membrane fusion. Additionally, 1-Palmitoyl-2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-PE enhances the endosomal escape capabilities of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), thereby improving the cellular delivery efficiency of nucleic acid therapeutics such as mRNA. This compound is applicable in targeted delivery for gene therapies and mRNA vaccine LNP carriers.

Stock Solution Preparation:

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO TargetMol | reagent to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO TargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 µL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH₂O TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
