Chemokines regulate leukocyte migration during physiological and pathological conditions. It is currently accepted that these chemotactic cytokines are also important in the development and progression of cancer. CXCL4 and its non-allelic variant CXCL4L1 are two platelet-associated chemokines that have been attributed anti-tumoral activity as a result of their angiostatic potential and the chemotactic activity for anti-tumoral leukocytes. CXCL4 Protein, Human, Recombinant (His & Avi), Biotinylated is expressed in E. coli expression system with N-His-Avi tag. The predicted molecular weight is 10.68 kDa and the accession number is P02776.

FormulationLyophilized from a solution filtered through a 0.22 μm filter, containing 4 mM HCl (pH 3.0). Typically, 8% trehalose is incorporated as a protective agent before lyophilization.
ReconstitutionReconstitute the lyophilized protein in 4mM HCl (pH 3.0). The product concentration should not be less than 100 μg/ml. Before opening, centrifuge the tube to collect powder at the bottom. After adding the reconstitution buffer, avoid vortexing or pipetting for mixing.
Stability & StorageIt is recommended to store recombinant proteins at -20°C to -80°C for future use. Lyophilized powders can be stably stored for over 12 months, while liquid products can be stored for 6-12 months at -80°C. For reconstituted protein solutions, the solution can be stored at -20°C to -80°C for at least 3 months. Please avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles and store products in aliquots.
ShippingIn general, lyophilized powders are shipped with blue ice, while solutions are shipped with dry ice.
