Coagulation Factor III/Tissue Factor Protein, Canine, Recombinant (His)

Catalog No. TMPK-00993
Synonyms: Thromboplastin, CD142, TF, FLJ17960, TFA, F3, Coagulation Factor III, Tissue factor

Tissue factor (also named Coagulation Factor III) is a cell surface glycoprotein responsible for initiating the extrinsic pathway of coagulation.Tissue factor is the primary cellular initiator of blood coagulation via interaction with coagulation factor VII. Aberrant expression of tissue factor is responsible for thrombosis during septic shock, atherosclerosis and cancer.

Species Canine
Expression System HEK293
Tag C-His
Accession Number Q4W6L5
Synonyms Thromboplastin, CD142, TF, FLJ17960, TFA, F3, Coagulation Factor III, Tissue factor
Construction Recombinant Canine Coagulation Factor III/Tissue Factor Protein is expressed from HEK293 with His tag at the C-Terminus. It contains Thr35-Glu248.[Accession |Q4W6L5]
Protein Purity > 95% as determined by Tris-Bis PAGE; > 95% as determined by HPLC
Molecular Weight The protein has a predicted MW of 25.41 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 35-45 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Endotoxin Less than 1EU per μg by the LAL method.
Formulation Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/ml is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
Stability & Storage

-20 to -80°C for 12 months as supplied from date of receipt. -20 to -80°C for 3-6 months in unopened state after reconstitution. 2-8°C for 2-7 days after reconstitution. Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are provided as lyophilized powder which are shipped at ambient temperature.Bulk packages of recombinant proteins are provided as frozen liquid. They are shipped out with blue ice unless customers require otherwise.
