| Description | Phosphoric acid is a commonly used inorganic acid that serves as a component of buffer systems and a pH regulator in molecular biology, biochemistry, and chromatography, and is used to prepare biological buffers and related experimental reagents. |
| In vitro | Method: Human immortalized keratinocytes (HaCaT) and human foreskin fibroblasts (HFF) were treated with 0.01 M and 0.1 M Phosphoric acid buffers (pH 3-7). Metabolic activity was assessed by MTT assay, and cell migration was evaluated by scratch wound healing assay. Result: Low ionic strength (0.01 M) Phosphoric acid enhanced cellular metabolic activity under specific treatment regimens, whereas high ionic strength (0.1 M) significantly reduced cell viability. Furthermore, low ionic strength Phosphoric acid, particularly at pH 4, markedly accelerated the migration rate of both cell types [1]. |
