IMC-2C5 is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting PDGFRB/CD140b.

PDGFRβ (human):0.55 nM, PDGFRβ (Ms):0.35 nM

The binding affinity of IMC-2C5 to hPDGFRβ and mPDGFRβ was 0.014 and 0.061 nM, respectively. IMC-2C5 inhibited the binding of hPDGFRβ to its ligand PDGF-B with an IC50 of 0.55 nM, while blocking the binding of mPDGFRβ to PDGF-B showed an IC50 of 0.35 nM.
IMC-2C5 significantly inhibited the cell migration of PDGF-B (30 ng/ml) -stimulated NCI-H460, OVCAR-8, WS-1, and U-118MG cells expressing PDGFRβ. [1]

IMC-2C5 showed significant antitumor activity in both OVCAR-8 and NCI-H460 xenograft models: At the end of treatment, it almost completely blocked the growth of OVCAR-8 tumors with a T/C of 39% and significantly slowed the growth of NCI-H460 tumors with a T/C of 60%. [1]
