Description
The strong EB detoxification agent is specially designed to remove the contaminated product of Ethidium bromide (EB).It can effectively destroy the structure of EB, remove the carcinogenicity of EB, so as to achieve the purpose of cleaning EB pollution.It is suitable for removing EB contamination on electrophoresis buffer, biochemical solution and solid surface (such as laboratory bench, centrifuge, glassware, stainless steel products, etc.).Using strong EB disinfectant to treat EB pollutants and then discard them can protect the environment from EB pollutants.
In vitro
Clean up contaminated solution (100 ml EB contaminated solution)
Dilute contaminated solutions to meet the required concentration (≤0.5 mg/ml). In the fume hood, dilute 2 ml solution A to the final volume of 20 ml with deionized water, and dissolve 0.42 g of disinfectant B in water and fix the volume to 12 ml. Add solution A and disinfectant B working solution to 100 ml EB contaminated solution, stir and mix carefully (pH ≤ 3). After 24 hours of reaction at room temperature, the pH of contaminated solution was adjusted to 5-9 with sodium bicarbonate. A large amount of water is used to wash the reactants into the water tank.

Stock Solution Preparation:

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSOTargetMol | reagent to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
