Integrin β-1 (ITGB1) belongs to the integrin β chain family. Integrin family members are membrane receptors involved in cell adhesion and recognition in a variety of processes including embryogenesis, hemostasis, tissue repair, immune response and metastatic diffusion of tumor cells. ITGB1 is an integrin unit associated with very late antigen receptors, which contains one VWFA domain. It is known to conjoin with α-3 subunit to create α3β1 complex that reacts to such molecules as netrin-1 and reelin.

Description Integrin β-1 (ITGB1) belongs to the integrin β chain family. Construction Recombinant Human Integrin β-1/ITGB1 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Gln21-Asp728 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus.
Protein Purity Greater than 90% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE. Greater than 90% as determined by SEC-HPLC.
Molecular Weight 100-130 KDa, reducing conditions
Endotoxin Less than 0.1 ng/µg (1 EU/µg) as determined by LAL test.
Formulation Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4.
Reconstitution Always centrifuge tubes before opening.Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100μg/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles. 
Stability & Storage

Lyophilized protein should be stored at ≤ -20°C, stable for one year after receipt. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 2-8°C for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at ≤ -20°C for 3 months.
