Coomassie Blue Conventional Staining Kit

Coomassie brilliant blue staining is a classical and widely used staining method in protein analysis, mainly used for the color detection of protein bands in SDS-PAGE gel. The principle is that under acidic conditions, Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250 or R-250 dye binds to alkaline amino acids (such as arginine, lysine, histidine) and aromatic amino acid residues (such as phenylalanine, tryptophan) in proteins to form blue complexes, thereby achieving visualization of proteins. After staining, the background dye can be removed through a decolorization step to make the protein bands clearer.
The conventional staining kit for Coomassie Brilliant Blue from Target Mol uses R-250 dye, which has stable staining effect and low background, making it suitable for experiments with high requirements for protein band display effect. The dyeing and decoloring process of the kit is relatively mild, which helps to obtain high-resolution, long-term preserved gel images, and is widely used in publication level experiments and protein image analysis.
