| In vitro | Inducing a specific humoral and cellular immune response against the NeuGcGM3 ganglioside present in tumor cells, racotumomab stimulates cell death[4]. |
| In vivo | In F3II cell (s.c.) mammary tumor mice models, racotumomab (50 μg/dose, i.p.) together with Keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) inhibits tumor growth[2]. Against lung nodules in 3LL cell (s.c.) mice xenograft, racotumomab (50 μg/dose, s.c.) together with Pemetrexed (100 mg/kg) is highly effective[3]. However, in 3LL cell (s.c.) mice xenograft, racotumomab (50-200 μg/dose, s.c.) shows no significant antitumor effect[3]. |
