mCherry-CircRNA incorporates the mCherry sequence and is synthesized through in vitro transcription and cyclization. After transfection into cells, mCherry-CircRNA expresses cherry fluorescent protein (mCherry) within the cells. Also known as cherry fluorescent protein, DsRed, or red fluorescent protein, mCherry is a widely used red fluorescent protein tag, commonly employed for labeling molecules and localizing cellular components. Isolated from mushroom coral, mCherry is a monomeric red fluorescent protein. Compared to other monomeric fluorescent proteins, mCherry is superior to other fluorescent protein tags due to its color and the photostability of its monomeric molecule, with maximum excitation and emission wavelengths of 587 nm and 610 nm, respectively.
