Acquisition of 20,000 events was performed. 14. 4% Paraformaldehyde-fixed A549 (H) cell; Triton X-100 at r. T. for 20 min; Antibody incubation with (TXNRD1) polyclonal Antibody, unconjugated (TMAB-13905) 1: 100, 90 min at 37°C; followed by conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG antibody (green, BF488) at 37°C for 90 min, DAPI (blue) was used to stain the cell nuclei. PBS instead of the primary antibody was used as the blank control. |

| Research Background | Isoform 1 may possess glutaredoxin activity as well as thioredoxin reductase activity and induces actin and tubulin polymerization, leading to formation of cell membrane protrusions. Isoform 4 enhances the transcriptional activity of estrogen receptors alpha and beta while isoform 5 enhances the transcriptional activity of the beta receptor only. Isoform 5 also mediates cell death induced by a combination of interferon-beta and retinoic acid. |
