Description
Anti-IL-T4 Antibody-APC (5V475) is a APC-conjugated Mouse antibody targeting IL-T4. Anti-IL-T4 Antibody-APC (5V475) can be used in FCM.
Ig Type
Monoclonal Mouse IgG2b
Clone
5V475
Reactivity
Human
Verified Activity
Flow cytometric analysis of Human LILRB2(CD85d) expression on human whole blood monocytes. Cells were stained with APC-conjugated anti-Human LILRB2(CD85d). The fluorescence histograms were derived from gated events with the forward and side light-scatter characteristics of intact cells.
Application
FCM
Recommended Dose
5 μl/Test, 0.1 mg/ml
Antibody Type
Monoclonal
Host SpeciesMouse
ConstructionThis antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Human LILRB2/ILT4/LIR-2 (rh LILRB2/ILT4/LIR-2; TMPY-03284; AAH36827.1; Met1-Val461) and conjugated with APC under optimum conditions, the unreacted APC was removed.

Research BackgroundILT4, also known as LILRB2, is a member of the subfamily B class of LIR receptors which contain two or four extracellular immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane domain, and two to four cytoplasmic immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs (ITIMs). ILT4 gene is a member of the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LIR) family. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for the ILT4 gene. ILT4 is expressed on immune cells where it binds to MHC class I molecules on antigen-presenting cells and transduces a negative signal that inhibits stimulation of an immune response. It is thought to control inflammatory responses and cytotoxicity to help focus the immune response and limit autoreactivity.
