Heterodimer protein that may serve both defensive (pain-inducing) and predatory (insecticidal) roles. Has membrane-disrupting activity and shows induction of non-specific calcium influx into cells,. Shows broad-spectrum activity against a diverse range of bacteria, and cell lines, as well as hemolytic activity (EC(50)=2.18 uM). In vivo, shows moderate insecticidal activity against D.melanogaster and potent anthelmintic activity against the veterinary nematode H.contortus. Reconstitution	Reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile deionized water. The product concentration should not be less than 100 μg/mL. Before opening, centrifuge the tube to collect powder at the bottom. After adding the reconstitution buffer, avoid vortexing or pipetting for mixing.
