ANXA2 Protein, Mouse, Recombinant (His)

ANXA2, highly expressed in invasive breast cancer cells, is closely related with poor prognosis, and acts as a molecular switch to EGFR activation. ANXA2 expression is inversely correlated with cell sensitivity to gefitinib. Knockdown of ANXA2 expression in MDA-MB-231 cells increased the gefitinib induced cell death. When ANXA2 was overexpressed in MCF7 cells, the gefitinib induced cell death was decreased. Furthermore, the phosphorylation of ANXA2 at Tyr23 is negatively correlated with the sensitivity of TNBC to gefitinib.

Construction	Recombinant Mouse ANXA2 Protein is expressed from E.coli with His tag at the N-Terminus. It contains Ser2-Asp339.[Accession \|P07356]

Molecular Weight	The protein has a predicted MW of 39.6 kDa same as Tris-Bis PAGE result.

Formulation	Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in 20mM MES, 150mM NaCl, 200mM L-arginine, 5mM DTT (pH 5.5). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution	Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/ml is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 20mM MES, 150mM NaCl, 200mM L-arginine, 5mM DTT (pH 5.5).
Stability & Storage	-20 to -80°C for 12 months as supplied from date of receipt. -20 to -80°C for 3-6 months in unopened state after reconstitution. 2-8°C for 2-7 days after reconstitution. Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
