ING-1 (heMab) is a high-affinity humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the epithelial cell adhesion molecule (Ep-CAM). This compound acts as a transmembrane glycoprotein mediated by Ca2+. ING-1 binds to Ep-CAM on tumor cells, demonstrating potent in vitro activity to target and inhibit tumor growth and metastasis in mouse cancer models. It is applicable for research in cancers such as breast, colorectal, and lung cancers.

| Description | ING-1 (heMab) is a high-affinity humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the epithelial cell adhesion molecule (Ep-CAM). It is applicable for research in cancers such as breast, colorectal, and lung cancers. |
| In vitro | ING-1 competes for binding with radiolabeled chimeric ING-1 to Ep-CAM in HT-29 human cells, with a Kd value ranging from 2 to 5 nM over 0.1-10000 nM at 4℃ for 5 hours. Additionally, ING-1 induces concentration-dependent lysis of 51 Cr-labeled BT-20, MCF-7, HT-29, CACO-2, NCI-H1568, PC-3, and HPAF-II cells in ADCC and CDC activity assays at 37℃ for 4 hours. |
| In vivo | Administering ING-1 (at 0.1-1.0 mg/kg via intravenous injection, twice weekly for three weeks) effectively reduces tumor size and metastasis in xenograft nude mouse models of HT-29 and PC-3. |
