Coramitug (PRX004) is a humanized IgG1 κ monoclonal antibody targeting transthyretin (TTR). This product binds specifically to non-native (misfolded or aggregated) forms of TTR without interacting with normal tetrameric TTR. Through its unique "amyloid depleter" mechanism, Coramitug induces macrophage-mediated phagocytosis to clear amyloid fibrils deposited in tissues, serving as a pharmacological tool for researching transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM).
