Anti-STAT6 Antibody-PE (5D324) is a PE-conjugated Mouse antibody targeting STAT6. Anti-STAT6 Antibody-PE (5D324) can be used in FCM.
Description | Anti-STAT6 Antibody-PE (5D324) is a PE-conjugated Mouse antibody targeting STAT6. Anti-STAT6 Antibody-PE (5D324) can be used in FCM. |
Ig Type | Monoclonal Mouse IgG1 |
Clone | 5D324 |
Reactivity | Human |
Verified Activity | Flow cytometric analysis of Human Stat6 expression in Jurkat cells. The cells were treated according to manufacturer’s manual (BD Pharmingen™ Cat. No. 554714), and then stained with PE Mouse anti-Human Stat6. The fluorescence histograms were derived from gated events with the forward and side light-scatter characteristics of intact cells. |
Application | FCM |
Recommended Dose | 5 μl/Test, 0.1 mg/ml |
Antibody Type | Monoclonal |
Host Species | Mouse |
Construction | This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Human STAT6 (rh STAT6; TMPY-02603; P42226-1; Met1-Trp847) and conjugated with PE under optimum conditions, the unreacted PE was removed. |
Purification | Protein A |
Appearance | Liquid |
Formulation | PBS solution containing 0.5% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide |
Research Background | Signal transducer and activator of transcription 6 (STAT6) is a transcription factor that is activated by interleukin-4 (IL-4)-induced tyrosine phosphorylation and mediates most of the IL-4-induced gene expression. STAT6 plays a central role in exerting interleukin-4 (IL-4) mediated biological responses and is found to induce the expression of BCL2L1/BCL-XL, which is responsible for the anti-apoptotic activity of IL4. Transcriptional activation by STAT6 requires the interaction with coactivators like p300 and the CREB-binding protein (CBP). NF-κB and tyrosine-phosphorylated Stat6 can directly bind each other in vitro and in vivo, which suggests that the direct interaction between Stat6 and NF-κB may provide a basis for synergistic activation of transcription by IL-4 and activators of NF-κB. |
Conjucates | PE |
Others Formats | Unconjugated/FITC |
Antibody Types Available | 3 |
Immunogen | Recombinant Human STAT6 protein (TMPY-02603) |
