Description
Anti-Mouse (CSF1R/CD115) Antibody (AFS98) is a rat-derived antibody that blocks the binding of M-CSF to its receptor, thereby inhibiting M-CSF-dependent colony formation and cell growth. This antibody can be widely used in research related to inflammatory diseases, metabolic diseases, cardiovascular diseases, and neurological diseases such as stroke, diabetes, and arthritis.
In vivo
Anti-Mouse (CSF1R/CD115) Antibody (AFS98) exhibits diverse pharmacological effects in different animal models: in the MCAo model, direct intracerebral injection 48 hours before modeling reduces the number of microglia in aged animals but exacerbates neuroinflammation after ischemic stroke [1].
At a dose of 25 mg/kg administered intraperitoneally once every two days for 6 consecutive weeks, it inhibits the progression of established diabetic nephropathy in obese (db/db) mice by targeting macrophage-mediated injury [2].
At a dose of 2 mg per mouse administered intraperitoneally once every two days for 6 consecutive weeks, it exerts a protective effect against early atherogenesis in apoE-deficient mice [3].
In the mouse model of collagen-induced arthritis (CIA), at doses of 25 or 50 mg/kg administered intraperitoneally once daily for 14 consecutive days, it shows significant anti-inflammatory effects [4].
