Anti-CD83 Antibody-PE (4H567) is a PE-conjugated Rabbit antibody targeting CD83. Anti-CD83 Antibody-PE (4H567) can be used in FCM.
Description | Anti-CD83 Antibody-PE (4H567) is a PE-conjugated Rabbit antibody targeting CD83. Anti-CD83 Antibody-PE (4H567) can be used in FCM. |
Ig Type | Monoclonal Rabbit IgG |
Clone | 4H567 |
Reactivity | Human |
Verified Activity | Flow cytometric analysis of Human CD83 expression on DC. Cells were stained with PE-conjugated anti-Human CD83. The fluorescence histograms were derived from gated events with the forward and side light-scatter characteristics of intact cells. |
Application | FCM |
Recommended Dose | 10 μl/Test, 0.1 mg/ml |
Antibody Type | Monoclonal |
Host Species | Rabbit |
Construction | This antibody was obtained from a rabbit immunized with purified, recombinant Human CD83 (rh CD83; TMPY-01829; Q01151-1; Met1-Ala143) and conjugated with PE under optimum conditions, the unreacted PE was removed. |
Purification | Protein A |
Appearance | Liquid |
Formulation | PBS solution containing 0.5% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide |
Research Background | The cluster of differentiation (CD) system is commonly used as cell markers in Immunophenotyping. Different kinds of cells in the immune system can be identified through the surface CD molecules associating with the immune function of the cell. There are more than 320 CD unique clusters and subclusters have been identified. Some of the CD molecules serve as receptors or ligands important to the cell through initiating a signal cascade which then alter the behavior of the cell. Some CD proteins do not take part in cell signal process but have other functions such as cell adhesion. CD83 is considered as a marker of mature dendritic cells as well as an adhesion receptor that binds to resting monocytes and a subset of activated CD8+T cells. In certain conditions, CD83 tended to dimerize or even multimerize through its aberrant intermolecular disulfide bonds. The injection of CD83-Ig can significantly enhance the rate of tumor growth and inhibit the T cell growth. |
Conjucates | PE |
Others Formats | Unconjugated/FITC |
Antibody Types Available | 3 |
Immunogen | Recombinant Human CD83 Protein (TMPY-01829) |
