Anti-ASAM Antibody-PE (2D639) is a PE-conjugated Mouse antibody targeting ASAM. Anti-ASAM Antibody-PE (2D639) can be used in FCM.
Description | Anti-ASAM Antibody-PE (2D639) is a PE-conjugated Mouse antibody targeting ASAM. Anti-ASAM Antibody-PE (2D639) can be used in FCM. |
Ig Type | Monoclonal Mouse IgG1 |
Clone | 2D639 |
Reactivity | Human |
Verified Activity | Flow cytometric analysis of Human ASAM expression on T98G cells. Cells were stained with purified anti-Human ASAM, then a FITC-conjugated second step antibody. The fluorescence histograms were derived from gated events with the forward and side light-scatter characteristics of intact cells. |
Application | FCM |
Recommended Dose | 10 μl/Test, 0.1 mg/ml |
Antibody Type | Monoclonal |
Host Species | Mouse |
Construction | This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Human ASAM / CLMP (rh ASAM / CLMP; TMPY-00964; NP_079045.1; Met1-Met233) and conjugated with PE under optimum conditions, the unreacted PE was removed. |
Purification | Protein A |
Appearance | Liquid |
Formulation | PBS solution containing 0.5% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide |
Research Background | Adipocyte-specific adhesion molecule (ASAM), also known as ACAM and CLMP, is a type I transmembrane protein and a member of the CTX (cortical thymocyte marker in Xenopus) family within the immunoglobulin superfamily. ASAM protein is highly expressed in the small intestine and placenta, and is found at intermediate levels in the heart, skeletal muscle, colon, spleen, kidney, and lung, and appears in low levels in the liver and peripheral blood leukocytes as well. ASAM is a transmembrane component of tight junctions in epithelial cells that can mediate cell aggregation and regulate transepithelial resistance across polarized epithelial cells. In addition, its expression is strongly correlated with white adipose tissue (WAT) mass of human and rodents with obesity. |
Conjucates | PE |
Others Formats | Unconjugated |
Antibody Types Available | 2 |
Immunogen | Recombinant Human ASAM / CLMP Protein (TMPY-00964) |
Antigen Species | Human |
Stability & Storage | Store at 2°C-8°C for 12 months, do not freeze. Keep away from direct sunlight. Sodium azide is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Flush with large volumes of water during disposal. |
Transport | Shipping with blue ice. |
