Anti-Aging Natural Product Library

Catalog No. L6630

Aging is a systematic and progressive decline in the functions of an organism over time, manifested by decreased cell vitality, reduced function of tissues and organs, weakened repair ability, and increased susceptibility to diseases. From a molecular perspective, aging is closely related to various biological processes such as telomere shortening, mitochondrial dysfunction, accumulation of oxidative stress, protein homeostasis imbalance, epigenetic changes, and chronic low-grade inflammation (i.e., "inflammatory aging"). Therefore, how to effectively delay or intervene in aging has become a core issue of common concern in modern life sciences, medicine, and the health industry. In this context, natural products have gradually become an important resource for anti-aging research due to their diverse structures, rich biological activities, and relatively lower toxic side effects. Numerous studies have shown that many natural compounds derived from plants, animals, or microorganisms can significantly delay the aging process through multi-target and multi-pathway synergy. For example, resveratrol can activate the SIRT1 pathway to delay cellular aging; curcumin can reduce aging-related damage through anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects; epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) can enhance the self-repair ability of cells. These natural compounds intervene in the aging process from different levels and demonstrate comprehensive potential.
To systematically integrate these promising molecules, TargetMol has established an anti-aging natural product library, which includes 195 natural products that have been experimentally verified to have anti-aging activity. The library covers key information such as their sources, chemical structures, biological activities, and mechanisms of action. This library can provide high-quality scientific support for the development of new anti-aging drugs, the development of functional foods, the design of anti-aging skin care products, and personalized health interventions.
