1. Tissue/cell: Rat lung tissue; 4% Paraformaldehyde-fixed and paraffin-embedded;
Antigen retrieval: citrate buffer (0.01 M, pH 6.0), Boiling bathing for 15 min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% Hydrogen peroxide for 30 min; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37℃ for 20 min;
Incubation: Anti-ZNF342 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (TMAB-14366) 1:500, overnight at 4°C, followed by conjugation to the secondary antibody and DAB staining

Research BackgroundZinc-finger proteins contain DNA-binding domains and have a wide variety of functions, most of which encompass some form of transcriptional activation or repression. The majority of zinc-finger proteins contain a Krüppel-type DNA binding domain and a KRAB domain, which is thought to interact with KAP1, thereby recruiting histone modifying proteins. As a member of the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, ZNF342 (zinc finger protein 342), also known as Zinc finger protein 296, is a 475 amino acid nuclear protein that contains six C2H2-type zinc fingers through which it is thought to be involved in DNA-binding and transcriptional regulation.
