Verified Activity
1. 25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with SOX10 monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (TMAB-13053) at 1: 1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r. T. for 60 min.
2. 4% Paraformaldehyde-fixed SK-MEL-28 (H) cell; Triton X-100 at r. T. for 20 min; Antibody incubation with (SOX10) monoclonal Antibody, unconjugated (TMAB-13053) 1: 100, 90 min at 37°C; followed by BF488 conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG antibody (green, BF488) at 37°C for 90 min, DAPI (blue) was used to stain the cell nuclei. PBS instead of the primary antibody was used as the blank control.

Research BackgroundThis gene encodes a member of the SOX (SRY-related HMG-box) family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and in the determination of the cell fate. The encoded protein may act as a transcriptional activator after forming a protein complex with other proteins. This protein acts as a nucleocytoplasmic shuttle protein and is important for neural crest and peripheral nervous system development. Mutations in this gene are associated with Waardenburg-Shah and Waardenburg-Hirschsprung disease. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
