| Reactivity | Human,Mouse |
| Verified Activity | 1. Western blot analysis of HepG2 cell lysate. Using ROR beta (TMAB-12344) monoclonal antibody at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r. T. for 60 min. 2. The SH-SY5Y (H) cells were fixed with 4% PFA (10 min at r. T.) and then permeabilized with 90% ice-cold methanol for 20 min at -20℃, the cells then were incubated in 5% BSA to block non-specific protein-protein interactions (30 min at r. T.), followed by secondary antibody incubation for 40 min at room temperature. Primary Antibody (green): Rabbit Anti-ROR beta antibody (TMAB-12344, 1:100); Isotype Control (orange): Rabbit IgG. Blank control (black): PBS. Acquisition of 20,000 events was performed. |

| Research Background | Nuclear receptor that binds DNA as a monomer to ROR response elements (RORE) containing a single core motif half-site 5'-AGGTCA-3' preceded by a short A-T-rich sequence. Considered to have intrinsic transcriptional activity, have some natural ligands such as all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) and other retinoids which act as inverse agonists repressing the transcriptional activity. |
| Immunogen | A synthesized peptide: human Nuclear receptor ROR beta |
| Antigen Species | Human |
| Gene Name | RORB |
| Gene ID | |
| Protein Name | Nuclear receptor ROR-beta |
| Uniprot ID | |
| Function | Orphan nuclear receptor required for normal postnatal development of rod and cone photoreceptor cells. Regulates transcription of OPN1SW in cone photoreceptor cells by binding the sequence 5'-AGGTCA-3' in the OPN1SW promoter (By similarity). |
| Molecular Weight | Theoretical: 53 kDa. Actual: 53 kDa. |
