Verified Activity | 1. Overlay Peak curve showing Hela cells stained with TMAH-00905 (red line) at 1:100. The cells were incubated in 10% normal goat serum to block non-specific protein-protein interactions followed by the antibody (1µg/1*106cells) for 1h at 4°C. The secondary antibody used was FITC-conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L) at 1/100 dilution for 30min at 4°C. Isotype control antibody (green line) was mouse IgG1 (1µg/1*106cells) used under the same conditions. Acquisition of >10,000 events was performed. 2. Research Background | Core component of nucleosome. Nucleosomes wrap and compact DNA into chromatin, limiting DNA accessibility to the cellular machineries which require DNA as a template. Histones thereby play a central role in transcription regulation, DNA repair, DNA replication and chromosomal stability. DNA accessibility is regulated via a complex set of post-translational modifications of histones, also called histone code, and nucleosome remodeling. |
