1. Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Human Prostate Cancer; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15 min; Antibody incubation with Nkx3.1 Monoclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (TMAB-09511) at 1: 200 overnight at 4°C, followed by conjugation to the Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L Secondary Antibody-HRP and DAB staining.
2. Transcription factor, which binds preferentially the consensus sequence 5'-TAAGT[AG]-3' and can behave as a transcriptional repressor. Play an important role in normal prostate development, regulating proliferation of glandular epithelium and in the formation of ducts in prostate. Act as a tumor suppressor controlling prostate carcinogenesis, as shown by the ability to inhibit proliferation and invasion activities of PC-3 prostate cancer cells.
