Description | Anti-MICA Antibody (5J416) is an antibody targeting MICA. Anti-MICA Antibody (5J416) can be used in ELISA, IHC. |
Synonyms | PERB11.1, MIC-A, MHC class I polypeptide-related sequence A |
Ig Type | Rabbit IgG |
Clone | 5J416 |
Reactivity | Human |
Verified Activity | 1. IHC image of TMAH-00756 diluted at 1:80 and staining in paraffin-embedded human small intestine tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit polymer IgG labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.49% DAB. 2. IHC image of TMAH-00756 diluted at 1:80 and staining in paraffin-embedded human liver cancer performed on a Leica BondTM system. Antibody Type | Monoclonal |
Subcellular Localization | Cell membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein. Cytoplasm. |
Tissue Specificity | Widely expressed with the exception of the central nervous system where it is absent. Expressed predominantly in gastric epithelium and also in monocytes, keratinocytes, endothelial cells, fibroblasts and in the outer layer of Hassal's corpuscles within t |
Construction | Recombinant Antibody |
Purification | Affinity-chromatography |
Appearance | Liquid |
Formulation | Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. |
Research Background | Seems to have no role in antigen presentation. Acts as a stress-induced self-antigen that is recognized by gamma delta T-cells. Ligand for the KLRK1/NKG2D receptor. Binding to KLRK1 leads to cell lysis. |
