3. Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded (Human kidney); Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15 min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30 min; Incubation with (LACTB) Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (TMAB-08181) at 1: 200 overnight at 4°C, followed by operating according to SP Kit (Rabbit) instructions and DAB staining.

LACTB is a protein from the large 39S subunit of the mitochondrial ribosome (mitoribosome). It has some sequence similarity to prokaryotic beta-lactamases but most of the residues that are responsible for the beta-lactamase activity are not conserved between the two proteins. It is expressed predominantly in skeletal muscle. There are two named isoforms.
