| Verified Activity | 1. Immunochemical staining of human GDF3 in human testis with rabbit monoclonal antibody (1:100, formalin-fixed paraffin embedded sections). 2. Immunochemical staining of human GDF3 in human breast carcinoma with rabbit monoclonal antibody (1:100, formalin-fixed paraffin embedded sections). 3. Immunofluorescence staining of GDF3 in HepG2 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS,blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human GDF3 monoclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:60) at 4°C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor®488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue).Positive staining was localized to Cytoplasm. |

| Construction | This antibody was obtained from a rabbit immunized with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the center region of the Human GDF-3. The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography. |
| Purification | Protein A |
| Appearance | Liquid |
| Formulation | 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS |
| Research Background | The GDF3 gene plays a fundamental role in embryonic morphogenesis. GDF3 expression is significantly decreased in human breast cancer tissues, and reconstitution of GDF3 in breast cancer may be a potential therapeutic approach to inhibit aggressive growth of breast cancer. |
| Conjucates | Unconjugated |
| Immunogen | A synthetic peptide: center region of the Human GDF-3 |
| Antigen Species | Human |
| Biology Area | Early Mesodermal Lineage Markers |
| Stability & Storage | Store at 2°C-8°C for 1 month. Store at -20°C or -80°C for 12 months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Preservative-Free. |
