1. 25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with Galectin 3 monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (TMAB-06293) at 1:2000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r. T. for 60 min.
2. Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Human Colon Cancer; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15 min; Antibody incubation with Galectin 3 Monoclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (TMAB-06293) at 1:200 overnight at 4°C, followed by conjugation to the SP Kit (Rabbit) and DAB staining.

Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Human liver; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15 min; Antibody incubation with Galectin 3 Monoclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (TMAB-06293) at 1:200 overnight at 4°C, followed by conjugation to the SP Kit (Rabbit) and DAB staining.

7. Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Human liver; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30 min; Incubation with Galectin 3 Monoclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (TMAB-06293) at 1:200 overnight at 4°C, followed by a BF594 conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG antibody (Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L-BF594) for 90 minutes, and DAPI for nuclei staining.
8. Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Human small intestine; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30 min; Incubation with Galectin 3 Monoclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (TMAB-06293) at 1:200 overnight at 4°C, followed by a BF594 conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG antibody (Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L-BF594) for 90 minutes, and DAPI for nuclei staining.

Together with DMBT1, required for terminal differentiation of columnar epithelial cells during early embryogenesis. In the nucleus: acts as a pre-mRNA splicing factor. Involved in acute inflammatory responses including neutrophil activation and adhesion, chemoattraction of monocytes macrophages, opsonization of apoptotic neutrophils, and activation of mast cells.
