(Negative control) Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Human Skeletal muscle; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15 min; Antibody incubation with CD5 Monoclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (TMAB-04017) at 1: 200 overnight at 4°C, followed by conjugation to the SP Kit (Rabbit) and DAB staining. 2. Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Human Lymph; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15 min; Antibody incubation with CD5 Monoclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (TMAB-04017) at 1: 200 overnight at 4°C, followed by conjugation to the SP Kit (Rabbit) and DAB staining. 3. Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Human Spleen; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15 min; Antibody incubation with CD5 Monoclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (TMAB-04017) at 1: 200 overnight at 4°C, followed by conjugation to the SP Kit (Rabbit) and DAB staining. 5. 25 μg total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with CD5 monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (TMAB-04017) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r. T. for 60 min. 6. Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Human Tonsil; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15 min; The section was incubated with CD5 Monoclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (TMAB-04017) at 1: 200 overnight at 4°C. Followed by conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG antibody (green), DAPI (blue) was used to stain the cell nuclei. 7. | Research Background | This gene encodes a member of the scavenger receptor cysteine-rich (SRCR) superfamily. Members of this family are secreted or membrane-anchored proteins mainly found in cells associated with the immune system. This protein is a type-I transmembrane glycoprotein found on the surface of thymocytes, T lymphocytes and a subset of B lymphocytes. The encoded protein contains three SRCR domains and may act as a receptor to regulate T-cell proliferation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
