Description | Anti-CD300C Antibody (3Y681) is a Mouse antibody targeting CD300C. Anti-CD300C Antibody (3Y681) can be used in FCM. |
Alias | LIR, IGSF16, CMRF35-A1, CMRF35A1, CMRF-35A, CMRF35A, CMRF-35, CMRF35, CLM-6, CD300c molecule |
Ig Type | Monoclonal Mouse IgG1 |
Clone | 3Y681 |
Reactivity | Human |
Verified Activity | Flow cytometric analysis of Human CD300c expression on human whole blood monocytes. Cells were stained with purified anti-Human CD300c, then a FITC-conjugated second step antibody. The fluorescence histograms were derived from gated events with the forward and side light-scatter characteristics of viable monocytes. |
Application | FCM |

Antibody Type | Monoclonal |
Host Species | Mouse |
Construction | This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Human CD300C (rh CD300C; TMPY-01828; NP_006669.1; Met1-Arg183). The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography. |

Research Background | The cluster of differentiation (CD) system is commonly used as cell markers in Immunophenotyping. Different kinds of cells in the immune system can be identified through the surface CD molecules which associating with the immune function of the cell. There are more than 320 CD unique clusters and subclusters have been identified. Some of the CD molecules serve as receptors or ligands important to the cell through initiating a signal cascade which then alter the behavior of the cell. Some CD proteins do not take part in cell signal process but have other functions such as cell adhesion. CD300 is a glycoprotein family of cell surface molecules that regulate a diverse array of cellular processes via their triggering and inhibitory receptor functions. The CD300 family of myeloid immunoglobulin receptors includes activating(CD300b, CD300e) and inhibitory members(CD300a, CD300f), as well as CD300c and CD300d, whose function is uncertain. |
