Verified Activity
1. 25 μg total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with CD150/SLAM monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (TMAB-03858) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r. T. for 60 min.
2. The Molt-4 (H) cells were incubated in 5% BSA to block non-specific protein-protein interactions (30 min at r. T.).
Primary Antibody (green): Rabbit Anti-CD150/SLAM antibody (TMAB-03858): 1 μg/10^6 cells;
Secondary Antibody (white blue): Goat anti-Rabbit IgG-FITC: 1 μg/test.
Isotype Control (orange): Rabbit IgG.
Blank control (black): PBS.
Acquisition of 20,000 events was performed.

Function
High-affinity self-ligand important in bidirectional T-cell to B-cell stimulation. SLAM-induced signal-transduction events in T-lymphocytes are different from those in B-cells. Two modes of SLAM signaling are likely to exist: one in which the inhibitor SH2D1A acts as a negative regulator and another in which protein-tyrosine phosphatase 2C (PTPN11)-dependent signal transduction operates.
Chemical Properties
Molecular WeightTheoretical: 37 kDa. Actual: 85 kDa.
Stability & Storage
Stability & StorageStore at 2°C-8°C for 1 month. Store at -20°C or -80°C for 12 months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
TransportShipping with blue ice.
