Positive control: Lane 1: PC-12, Lane 2: Raw264.7, Lane 3: NIH/3T3, Lane 4: NRK, Lane 5: C2C12, Lane 6: C6, Lane 7: F9, Lane 8: COS-7 cell lysate. 2. Western blot analysis of CBL on different cell lysates using anti-CBL antibody at 1/1,000 dilution.Positive control:Lane 1: RAJI, Lane 2: RAW264.7, Lane 3: K562, Lane 4: SKBR-3, Lane 5: 3T3-L1, Lane 6: THP-1, Lane 7: PC-12. 3. | Research Background | The cbl oncogene was first identified as part of a transforming retrovirus which induces mouse pre-B and pro-B cell lymphomas. As an adaptor protein for receptor protein-tyrosine kinases, it positively regulates receptor protein-tyrosine kinase ubiquitination in a manner dependent upon its variant SH2 and RING finger domains. Ubiquitination of receptor protein-tyrosine kinases terminates signaling by marking active receptors for degradation. |
