Product Introduction

Bioactivity
Description
Anti-Adenylate kinase 2 Antibody (4N197) is a Rabbit antibody targeting . Anti-Adenylate kinase 2 Antibody (4N197) can be used in WB,IHC-P,IHC-F,ICC/IF,IF,IP,FCM.
Ig Type
IgG
Clone
4N197
Reactivity
Human,Mouse,Rat
Verified Activity
25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with Adenylate kinase 2 monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (TMAB-02329) at 1: 1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r. T. for 60 min.
Application
Recommended Dose
WB=1:500-2000,IHC-P=1:100-200,IHC-F=1:100-200,ICC/IF=1:50-200,IF=1:100-200,IP=1:20-50,FCM=1:50-100
Antibody Type
Monoclonal
Host SpeciesRabbit
Subcellular LocalizationMitochondrion intermembrane space.
Tissue SpecificityPresent in most tissues. Present at high level in heart, liver and kidney, and at low level in brain, skeletal muscle and skin. Present in thrombocytes but not in erythrocytes, which lack mitochondria. Present in all nucleated cell populations from blood, while AK1 is mostly absent. In spleen and lymph nodes, mononuclear cells lack AK1, whereas AK2 is readily detectable. These results indicate that leukocytes may be susceptible to defects caused by the lack of AK2, as they do not express AK1 in sufficient amounts to compensate for the AK2 functional deficits (at protein level).
