In vitro | Method: Normal rat gastric mucosal cells (RGM1) and cancerous gastric mucosal cells (RGK1) were exposed to various concentrations of Acetic Acid (0, 1, 2, 5, 10, and 20 µM) for 24 hours. Result: In RGK1 cancerous cells, Acetic Acid treatment significantly increased the expression of monocarboxylate transporter 1 (MCT1) and cleaved caspase-9. In contrast, only minor effects were observed in normal RGM1 cells. [3] |
