| Description | Anti-RAD23A Antibody (9Q812) is a Rabbit antibody targeting RAD23A. Anti-RAD23A Antibody (9Q812) can be used in FCM, ICC/IF, WB. |
| Ig Type | IgG |
| Clone | 9Q812 |
| Reactivity | Human (predicted:Mouse,Rat) |
| Verified Activity | 1. 25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with RAD23A monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (TMAB-12036) at 1: 1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r. T. for 60 min. 2. The Jurkat (H) cells were fixed with 4% PFA (10 min at r. T.) and then permeabilized with 90% ice-cold methanol for 20 min at -20℃, the cells then were incubated in 5% BSA to block non-specific protein-protein interactions (30 min at r. T.), followed by secondary antibody incubation for 40 min at room temperature. Primary Antibody (green): Rabbit Anti-RAD23A antibody (TMAB-12036, 1: 100); Isotype Control (orange): Rabbit IgG. Blank control (black): PBS. Acquisition of 20,000 events was performed. 3. 4% Paraformaldehyde-fixed Jurkat (H) cell; Triton X-100 at r. T. for 20 min; Antibody incubation with (RAD23A) monoclonal Antibody, unconjugated (TMAB-12036) 1: 100, 90 min at 37°C; followed by conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG antibody (green, BF488) at 37°C for 90 min, DAPI (blue) was used to stain the cell nuclei. PBS instead of the primary antibody was used as the blank control. |

| Research Background | Multiubiquitin chain receptor involved in modulation of proteasomal degradation. Binds to 'Lys-48'-linked polyubiquitin chains in a length-dependent manner and with a lower affinity to 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains. Proposed to be capable to bind simultaneously to the 26S proteasome and to polyubiquitinated substrates and to deliver ubiquitinated proteins to the proteasome. |

| Function | Multiubiquitin chain receptor involved in modulation of proteasomal degradation. Proposed to be capable to bind simultaneously to the 26S proteasome and to polyubiquitinated substrates and to deliver ubiquitinated proteins to the proteasome.Involved in nucleotide excision repair and is thought to be functional equivalent for RAD23B in global genome nucleotide excision repair (GG-NER) by association with XPC. In vitro, the XPC:RAD23A dimer has NER activity. Can stabilize XPC.Involved in vpr-dependent replication of HIV-1 in non-proliferating cells and primary macrophages. Required for the association of HIV-1 vpr with the host proteasome. |
